What new space is coming to Chicago’s John Hancock Building where the Signature Room used to be? ELEVAIRE CHICAGO, a new private event venue for weddings, corporate meetings, networking receptions, and galas.
What is ELEVAIRE CHICAGO?
On October 15, 2026, 360 CHICAGO, known for its observation deck on the 94th floor of the former John Hancock Center at 875 N. Michigan Ave., announced ELEVAIRE CHICAGO, a nearly 14,000-square-foot private event venue planned for the 96th floor. The space will offer views of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s skyline.
360 CHICAGO, owned by French parent company Magnicity, is making a major expansion onto both the 95th and 96th floors, formerly home to the Signature Room. The expansion will increase 360 CHICAGO’s total footprint to more than 50,000 square feet across three floors and create Chicago’s first multi-story observation deck.

360 CHICAGO announced its plans to expand into the 95th and 96th floors in 2025 after parent company Magnicity acquired the two floors the previous year. The expansion will connect the existing 94th-floor observation deck with the new levels through a dramatic three-story grand staircase overlooking Lake Michigan.
The 95th floor will expand the observation experience with additional visitor space and programming, while ELEVAIRE CHICAGO on the 96th floor will operate as a dedicated private event venue.
When can planners book ELEVAIRE CHICAGO?
ELEVAIRE CHICAGO will begin accepting bookings for weddings, corporate meetings, networking receptions, galas, and more in Q1 2027. The venue is expected to debut in early 2028.
