The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi Russia officially begin tomorrow, Friday, February 7th.  Get in the spirit by creating your own Office Olympics Challenges!  Do it for a day or compete with the national teams all the way to the end.  Here are a few ideas on what you can do.

CHAIR CHALLENGE

Each team has to stay in their chairs the ENTIRE day.  That’s right – I’m talking about rolling yourselves into that 2PM.  Meeting.  The team that can roll around the office the longest wins!  Or, if you want to switch it up, no one uses their chairs and the team that sits first is out!

THE SCAVENGER CHALLENGE

Pick a 3rd party non-team person.  Have them hide 3 items around the office each day.  Each represents a gold, silver and bronze medal.  The first team to find each item that day wins that medal.  The team with the most gold medals at the end of the Olympics wins!

THE “NOT IT” CHALLENGE

Each day a country, sport or phrase is chosen as your “not it” word.  Each tme someone says that word, they get a point.  The team with the LEAST amount of points wins.

EAT LIKE A CHAMPION CHALLENGE

This one’s pretty obviously.  Have a food-eating contest that would make the Ancient Greeks proud… or ashamed.  Have fun and take your lunch hour to see who’s got what it takes to eat with the best!  Just make sure you do this safely – no choking, please!
