The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group just launched one of most elegant new venues in River North that is sure to impress any guest with its soaring ceilings and incredible decor. The Alston officially opened May 30 on the third floor of One Chicago, with interiors inspired by 1920s Paris salons and London’s exclusive supper clubs.The Alston offers a luxurious setting for private events, corporate dinners, and upscale celebrations in the heart of downtown.
Highlights of the space include the expansive Terrace, which is still be completed, but features incredible greenery (including a built-in watering system). Designed for year-round enjoyment, it boasts retractable windows and full temperature control throughout. We’d also be remiss not to mention the secret, private room tucked behind the wine cellar, a hidden gem sure to be a hit with absolutely everyone.
Elevated Dining & Bespoke Hospitality
While we haven’t personally tried the menu, our expectations are high: Michelin-starred chef Jenner Tomaska has partnered with Master Sommelier Ken Fredrickson to create a one-of-a-kind menu that’s as much about ambiance as it is about taste.
Their menu offerings pair classic Midwestern steakhouse favorites with a refined twist on French Nouvelle cuisine, backed by a wine list featuring over 450 selections from around the world.
