One of the greatest cohesive tools for navigating and exploring Chicago is The Local Tourist. There’s a lot going on this city and it can be hard to keep up. So while MetroMix & Thrillist are also great, today I am featuring a fellow local blogger. Initially a waitress, The Local Tourist turned her love for Chicago into a success story. And it’s impressive. What’s so great about this website is that there is truly an element of what’s local and what’s going on, not necessarily what’s the most news-worthy or flashy.
