Head north, just outside of Chicago for this immersive exhibit featuring 26 original pieces of one of the most important painters of the 20th century. The work of the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) is an experience that reflects both the culture of her native Mexico and the contemporary artistic trends of her time.

Organized by the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, Chicago is the first stop on a five-city tour for the official portraits of former president and first lady. Not only do the portraits feature history-making subjects but they were made by groundbreaking artists. Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald are the first African Americans to be commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery to create official portraits of a president or first lady.

After August 15th, the portraits will travel on to the Brooklyn Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, High Museum of Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

The joy of live theater performances has been greatly missed during quarantine, and while the rest of Chicago Broadway is getting ready for 2022 performances, Teatro Zinzanni offers an exciting opportunity to enjoy live dinner theater now. This immersive experience features cirque, comedy, cabaret, and live music.

The space can accommodate up to 330, with great options for groups of 10 or more.
