Everyone loves a good wine, so in 2014 The Chicago Event Planner Magazine will be featuring a wine each month for you to check out.  This month’s wine is a Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Tuscany, Italy.  I picked up this particular bottle at my local Whole Foods.  I tend to be a white wine drinker so I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this 2009 Merlot-Cabernet blend is. At under $20 a bottle, this Sangiovese red is clean and not too dry, which means you can enjoy it with a meal or, as I did, on the couch catching your favorite tv show at the end of the day.  With essences of fruit, this is a must-have for a group get together or party!
