For event planners, it’s important to be apart of associations and receive accreditations that validate your skillsets. It’s also important to learn how you can be helpful. Go to a networking event outside of your field is always a great opportunity to be a big fish in a little pond. See what potential clients are talking about, what they need. Not to mention their area of work may help give you ideas for a client you already have.
